This is Edition One. We continue to look for sponsors for 2026 who see the value in what we're building and are keen to build this together, in the long term. The festival will run annually and we want to keep a big chunk (and if possible, all of it) free every year.

With multiple venues and multiple bands running simultaneously,
our aim is to pay all musicians at par with the good jazz venues in London.
In the years we can't raise all the money through sponsorship and grants, we hope to make up the difference by selling subsidised tickets.

The largest chunk of our budget is musician fee and stage setup. We don’t want to skimp on that.

Our costs include stage setup and takedown, robust sound equipment and engineers, instrument hire and transportation, permissions and licenses, insurance, basic festival amenities, artist and agent fees, stage management, content creation, marketing and outreach.

In the years we raise more than our estimated budget, we will consider additional options such as expanding the scope of the community workshops, programming smaller events leading up to the festival to build momentum, providing a nominal payment to festival volunteers, and allocating any remaining funds for planning the next edition.
